Sotheby's Institute of Art Careers Directors collaborate with Sotheby’s Institute students and alumni working in all areas of the art world on a continuing basis. CHRISTINA BRADSTREET
CAREERS DIRECTOR
Sotheby's Institute of Art – London
Christina Bradstreet has helped students and alumni to plan and achieve fulfilling art
world careers for the last several years at Sotheby's Institute - London. She has an exceptionally wide knowledge of the private,
public and not-for-profit art world and has built a strong profile as an
expert on the art world jobs market gained through her careers
publications, presentations at events and contributions to leadership
and debate.
She is writing an academic monograph entitled Scented Visions: Art and the Olfactory 1850 -1910 and
she gives regular lectures and museum events on the subject of smell in
nineteenth- century art, often in collaboration with experts from the
perfume industry. She has taught on nineteenth-century art at a number
of London universities including Birkbeck College, The Courtauld
Institute of Art and Royal Holloway College. She has a Masters degree in
art history from the Courtauld Institute of Art. Her PhD in Art History
from Birkbeck College, University of London was awarded the Anne
Humphreys Prize for best nineteenth-century studies thesis from the arts
and humanities.
MEG VOSBURG
CAREERS DIRECTOR
Sotheby's Institute of Art – New York
In her role as Director of Career Services, Meg Vosburg leads
student career development and employer relationship management. Prior
to joining the Institute, she was Senior Associate Director of Career
Counseling, at NYU’s Stern School of Business, working with full-time
MBA students and specializing in international career development.
Previously, she worked in admissions and career services at University
of Chicago's Booth School of Business in Singapore where she also served
as Honorary Secretary and docent for Friends of the Museums, Singapore.
Her overseas experience also includes positions with the China Service
Project in Hong Kong and leading English Language programs for a
nongovernmental organization in Thailand; additional experience in human
resources and corporate training adds to her portfolio. Meg received an
MA in International Education from the Steinhardt School of Culture,
Education and Human Development at NYU and earned her BA in
International Relations at Bucknell University.
