Overview

This exciting four-day course offered on-site in Berlin immerses participants in Berlin’s contemporary art scene, an important and prolific center for artistic creation. The lectures offer a background of twentieth-century art in Berlin and on the most recent developments of the past decade, including trends in art practice pursued by the emergent generation of artists. Designed for anyone interested in embracing and in gaining knowledge of Berlin’s contemporary art scene, the lectures are complemented by guided visits to cutting-edge galleries, artists’ studios, museums and collections.
