Overview

The evolution of the role of curator has been both celebrated and highly contested, especially in the last twenty years. This course provides participants with a strong understanding of historical and current curatorial practices through the analysis of different exhibitions and display platforms, looking at the museum model in comparison with independent galleries. Participants are equipped with a sound introduction to different aspects of the profession. The course is designed for those who are interested in curating exhibitions and events in the art world today.
