John McGuirk

John McGuirk is the director of the Performing Arts Program at The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation and serves as liaison to the Community Leadership Project. He previously worked as director of the James Irvine Foundation’s Arts Program, was manager of grants programs for Arts Council Silicon Valley, as well as working at the Community School of Music and Arts in Mountain View, California, the Pittsburgh Symphony, and the Pittsburgh Opera. McGuirk currently serves on the board of Grantmakers in the Arts and participates in steering committees of the California Cultural Data Project and the Northern California Grantmakers’ Arts Loan Fund.
