Vanessa Troiano joined the MACA faculty at Sotheby's Institute of Art in New York in 2015. She has taught lecture courses on the History of Art from Ancient to Contemporary Art, as well as reading seminars on Contemporary Art. Additionally, she assists with the Institute’s Online courses in Modern Art.
As an Enhanced Chancellor’s Fellow at the Graduate Center, CUNY, Vanessa is working on her PhD in Art History, specializing in Modern Art with a focus on Communist Imagery in Weimar Germany. She was awarded an MA degree with distinction from the Courtauld Institute of Art, where her course of study concentrated on Conceptual Art.
