The Summer Institute in London offers short and intensive courses in art business, art history, art finance, contemporary art, curating, collecting, and decorative art and design — all created to share expertise and provide a deeper understanding of the art world. The program is tailored to meet the needs of undergraduates, career changers, study abroad participants, and art professionals seeking to acquire specific knowledge and skills, as well as those interested in learning more about art and cultural history.
You can choose from 2- or 4-week summer courses, and take a customized combination of courses that fit your interests and needs. 4-week courses are validated by the University of Manchester, a prestigious Russell Group university. Students undertaking assignments on a 4-week course who successfully meet the requirements will be awarded 20 University of Manchester undergraduate credits. Students who wish to take this assessment route should select the credit-bearing option of the course.
