Sotheby's Institute of Art-London hosted the launch event for Bloomsbury Art Markets, the first scholarly guide of its kind online to explore the art trade.
The launch event for Bloomsbury Art Markets presented by Bloomsbury Digital Resources, recently took place at the Institute's London campus and included a panel discussion on 'Tools for Researching the Art Market'. The discussion followed by a Q&A was moderated by the Director of Sotheby's Institute Art-London, Jonathan Woolfson, and led by the Editor-in-Chief of Bloomsbury Art Markets, Johannes Nathan.
An esteemed panel of experts joined the panel including Dr Kathryn Brown, Senior Lecturer in Art History and Visual Culture at Loughborough University, and Professor Frances Fowle, Chair of Nineteenth-Century Art, University of Edinburgh and Senior Curator at National Galleries of Scotland; Chair of the British Association for Art History.
