CENTRO is a leading institution for urban model of higher education in design, architecture, digital media and film in Mexico City. It focuses on the critical role of creativity in analyzing and resolving problems of varied complexity in diverse contexts, using a human centered and system-oriented approach. Through a specialized and personalized educational model, CENTRO forms creative experts with a socially conscious, sustainable, and entrepreneurial perspective.
Sotheby’s Institute of Art-New York collaborates with CENTRO on its MA in Contemporary Art, Markets, and Management (Maestría en Contemporáneo Arte, Mercados y Negocios). The program is the first and only degree of its kind in Latin America to combine faculty from CENTRO and Sotheby’s Institute of Art, the global leader in the study of art business. Drawing on faculty, curriculum and professional networks from both CENTRO and Sotheby’s Institute of Art, students learn how business fundamentals such as finance, strategy, and marketing apply to the evolving art and design industries in Mexico City and beyond. Field study trips to New York City and Los Angeles will provide students with an international context for art markets and management in two of the world’s most important artistic centers.

Sotheby’s Institute of Art and Tsinghua University have a long-standing partnership that provides students opportunities to learn about the art world capitals of New York, London, and Beijing . Through the partnership of the two schools, the examination of art and business is brought to students in a powerful combination of what the two institutions can offer and provides a multi-perspective global experience.
There are two ways to study: 8-and 10-week Online Premier courses are taught online throughout the year on topics such as art history and art business. These courses are taught in English with Chinese translation, and include specialized units on Chinese art history and Chinese art markets. Students who successfully complete the course earn a digital Certificate of Completion from Sotheby’s Institute of Art as well as Continuing Education Units granted by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).
To gain a graduate degree, Tsinghua University’s Academy of Arts & Design (AAD) and the School of Economics and Management (SEM) partner with Sotheby’s Institute to offer a two-year Master’s Degree in Art Business that can be completed either in-person or through the hybrid program with study in Beijing, New York City, and London. Students who successfully complete the program will hold a Sotheby’s Institute of Art MA in Art Business degree with official recognition from the Ministry of Education of China. ESCP Business School partnership offers opportunities for study abroad and dual degree programs. With six campuses in Paris, Berlin, London, Madrid, Turin and Warsaw, ESCP takes a international approach to management. Sotheby's Institute of Art-New York and ESCP, two renowned institutions, signed an agreement that will allow students of the ESCP Master in Management Grande Ecole program to follow a course of study from the start of the 2020 academic year, either as a study abroad exchange student in the Fall semester or as a dual degree graduate in Master’s in Management (MiM) from ESCP and MA in Art Business from SIA-NY. ESCP students will carry out their Master 1 year on one of the campuses of the European Business School and their Master 2 in New York. This partnership is the first international dual skills agreement for ESCP in the field of art management.
Sotheby's Institute of Art partners with Queens College, CUNY, providing access to QC students to take SIA courses free of charge through the Diversifying Art Business Leadership: SIA and QC/CUNY Consortium. Through this program, QC/CUNY students with demonstrated financial need will gain access to SIA's specialized graduate level educational opportunities. This collaboration advances Sotheby's Institute Art's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the art world.
