The recent stunning sale of Love is in the Bin by Banksy was achieved by an Asian collector. With important art hubs in Asia such as Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Seoul, how is Asian art and Asian wealth influencing the global art scene? In this panel, we will discuss how key galleries, institutions and artists have put Asian art in the big picture internationally. We explore how a new generation of Asian institutions, curators, dealers and collectors are changing the field and the ever-increasing impact of Asia on the global art world.
The panel will be followed by networking opportunities with SIA alumni via Zoom break-out rooms.
