Springtime marks the Careers Fair season at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in both London and New York
Career Fairs are designed to offer our students connections, guidance, and a chance to meet influential businesses who are in a position to hire graduates. In New York we welcomed hiring teams from Sotheby's, Masterworks, UOVO, The Public Art Fund, The Armory Show, the Winter Show, Alphaa.io, and Doyle. Attendees had the opportunity to get their professional headshots taken by Laura Londin, a Sotheby’s Institute alum who now owns a professional photography company called The Booth.
In London, students had the chance to meet representatives from Art Loss Register, The Art Newspaper, Roseberys, Convelio, Lacey West Art International, Culture&, Art Mavens, ArtLogic, Art Angel, Bloomsbury Publishing, DRAW recruitment, Art History Association, Colnaghi, Cynthia Corbett Gallery, Landerlander, Constantine, Mayfair Gallery, to name a few.
A Careers Service desk, offering CV checks, careers advice and guidance was also part of the experience.
