July 11, 2017, New York, NY—Sotheby’s Institute of Art (SIA) is delighted to announce a new internship opportunity with the Sotheby’s Museum Network.
The Sotheby’s Museum Network is expanding in scope and depth, adding more museums and developing featured exhibition listings. The Editorial Department is exclusively seeking Sotheby’s Institute of Art students to help do so.
The Sotheby’s Museum Network is an online resource benefiting the museum community and art audiences globally. Bringing together information on hundreds of museums including original and legacy digital content, current exhibition listings, and special editorial features, the Museum Network provides audiences with privileged, in-depth access to the most comprehensive range of exhibiting institutions and their collections
In order to qualify, candidates must be third semester MA students in New York or Los Angeles, ideally with experience working in a museum setting and fluency in a second language. Interested candidates can learn more and apply through the SIA career services departments. Candidates must have the appropriate work visa or work permit in order to work in the required location.
