M.A. from Oxford University and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Courtauld Institute of Art
Amanda is Senior Researcher for the Impressionist & Modern Department at Sotheby's London. She leads provenance research and writing for the London marquee sales as well as working to advise the global Evening and Private Sale teams. Since joining the department in 2014, she has been closely involved in the sale of many high-profile collections including The European Avant-Garde: A Private Family Collection. She was also part of the curatorial team for Sotheby’s annual monumental sculpture exhibition Beyond Limits. Amanda works closely with clients to advise on all aspects of collection management from authentication, conservation and storage to on-going market analysis and future planning.
