Sonja Wosnitzer

Adjunct Faculty, Summer Institute, Online Courses

Sonja Wosnitzer began her career in fixed income markets, working with boutique investment funds and trading firms in New York City. In 2018, she earned a Master of Arts degree in Visual Arts Management from New York University, where her thesis explored the applications of Blockchain technology in the art market.

Following her studies, Wosnitzer joined Arthena, a startup art fund, where she played a key role in shaping its collection strategy. She later applied her expertise in both finance and the arts through roles at the Sonnabend Gallery and the Lincoln Center Corporate Fund.

Currently, Wosnitzer provides private alternative asset consulting, drawing on her diverse background to support clients navigating the intersection of art and investment. For the past four years, she has shared her knowledge as an instructor at Sotheby’s Summer Institute, where she teaches Art Business, and continues to educate students through Sotheby’s Online program as Adjunct Faculty.
