Vittoria Riccio

Vittoria Riccio is an art historian and educator based in New York City. She earned her BA from La Sapienza University of Rome and an MA from the Institute of Fine Arts, NYU. She specializes in 17th-century art and architecture, exploring the propagandistic use of architecture from the Baroque era to the present day. In addition to her academic work, Vittoria has been actively engaged in the contemporary art scene in both New York City and Rome, integrating modern perspectives into her historical analysis. She currently teaches Art History at Pratt Institute and Sotheby’s Institute of Art-New York.
